Our philosophy is driven by our values regarding the right of individuals with disabilities to be included as active members of their communities and to live their lives with dignity and respect. The individuals we serve will participate in activities and settings in proximity to, and in interaction with, their non-disabled peers, coworkers, and fellow community members. Individuals served by COIPSS have the right of choice and flexibility regarding what, how and where their services are provided. Working in partnership with individuals and others who are important to them, makes it possible for individuals to have a life in the community among family and friends. COIPSS has a reputation for being extremely responsive to the individuals, families, and all members of their team. As a result of the above, the majority of COIPSS admissions are direct referrals from individuals and families we serve.
