FREE of Maryland, Inc.

FREE of Maryland is a new nonprofit formation, based in Montgomery County. It being created under the leadership of Family Residences and Essential Enterprises Inc. (FREE of NY). At FREE of Maryland, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilites through innovation, person-centered services.  Our purspose is rooted in helping people choose and create homes in inclusive, integrated communities that reflect their personal preferences and aspirations.  We believe that every indidival has unique gifts and talents to share.  Our programs are designed to support people of all abilities in discovering their interests, setting meaningful goals, and actively participating in the development of their own life plans.  Through skill-building, engagement, and personalized support, we help individuals live fulfilling lives as valued, contributing members of their communitites.
